After missing the entirety of 2018-19, and all but six games of 2017-18, Quinnipiac women’s basketball red-shirt junior Vanessa Udoji is out for the season.

Q30 has learned the guard/forward has a “lower body injury.”

Udoji’s Quinnipiac career was off to a promising start, playing 26 games her freshman year. She started five, averaging 3.2 points per game and 1.3 rebounds per contest.

In the few games she played in her second season, the Massachussetts-native averaged 8.3 points per game, including 14-point outbursts against Northern Colorado and Dayton.
