Jacob Resnick and Katie O’Keefe hosted the Veterans Day edition of Sports Paws.
The show starts by recapping Quinnipiac women’s soccer playoff loss against Fairfield.
Rugby traveled to West Point to take on the Army Black Knights in their NIRA playoff game, and rugby beat reporter Jack Main joins Katie and Jacob live in studio to discuss the team’s season and their lookout going forward.
Both the men’s and women’s ice hockey teams tied against Dartmouth on Friday 2-2 and 1-1, respectively. Both teams took on Harvard on Saturday with the men taking a 7-2 loss, and the women losing 3-2 in overtime. Men’s hockey beat reporter Tom Krosnowski joins the crew in studio to discuss the team’s struggles so far this season.
The women’s volleyball team played against St. Peters and Rider, beating the Peacocks, but falling short to the Broncs on senior day.
Plus, women’s basketball opened up their season on Tuesday against Drexel, falling 66-62.
Quinnipiac hosted the Big East field hockey tournament on Sunday between Old Dominion and UConn. And of course, we wrap up the show with the Top 5 plays of the week!
