This week’s edition of Sports Paws was hosted by Kylicia Smith and Ryan Flaherty. The two kicked off the show by recapping the weekend for the Quinnipiac Men’s Ice Hockey as they had two games against St. Lawrence this weekend. They also gave an updated ECAC standings and the latest USCHO poll for the Bobcats and where they stood against other top teams in the country. Then, Kylicia and Ryan gave an update about Odeen Tufto and how he has tied the mark for most assists in program history, and an update about Keith Petruzzelli and how he was nominated as a finalist for the Mike Richter Award.

 

Then, Kylicia and Ryan went to the Quinnipiac Women’s Ice Hockey team as they were home for two games against Colgate. They also updated the ECAC standings for the women.  The two were joined in studio by Women’s Ice Hockey Beat Reporter Connor Ullathorne as he recapped the season for the team. He also gave his end of season awards to the team, including MVP, Unsung Hero, Defensive Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year.

 

After a short break, Kylicia and Ryan recapped the Quinnipiac Men’s Basketball team as they had two games against Marist this weekend. Jacob Rigoni also broke the all-time three-pointers made record for the program this weekend, and Kylicia and Ryan mentioned that. The two updated the MAAC standings for the team as their season is coming to a close.

 

The two also talked Quinnipiac Women’s Basketball as they went against Niagara for two games this weekend. They also updated the MAAC standings for the team and showed where the team stood in the conference. Kylicia and Ryan were joined by Women’s Volleyball Beat Reporter Katie O’Keefe, as she gave her predictions for the upcoming season. She recapped how the schedule was going to look this season and took a look at the newcomers to the team.

Kylicia and Ryan closed the show out with the Top Five plays of the week.
