Quinnipiac men’s basketball’s season came to an end Sunday as the Fairfield Stags defeated the Bobcats 74-64 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.

Starting point guard Rich Kelly finished with seven points on 2-for-14 shooting, while senior guard Cam Young finished with 24 points.

Fairfield got hot from three-point range early, led by Tyler Nelson and Ferron Flavors, Jr.

Quinnipiac coach Baker Dunleavy finishes his first year with a 12-21 record, and two MAAC Tournament wins.

Q30 beat reporters Chris Dacey and Dylan Ferron discuss Kelly’s struggles, Quinnipiac’s toughness and how Baker Dunleavy coached in his first season.
