“Late Night with Kevin Carroll” premiered at Quinnipiac in October 2013. Since their first episode, Kevin and his producing team have become a popular commodity on campus, gaining nearly 6,000 views on Youtube, and having packed live audiences for each taping of the show.
The above piece is a rare sit-down interview with Kevin Carroll and his two executive producers, Rebecca Castagna and Sommer Rusinski. Because Kevin is a graduating senior, his last show as host of Late Night will be on Thursday, April 17.
While Kevin and his producers are keeping quiet about who will take his place once he graduates, the team says they are hopeful for the future. This piece takes a look at how the show was created, if Kevin and his crew thought it would be as successful as it has been, and what’s next as a new chapter begins.
