The playoffs are inching closer and Q30 Sports has all of the coverage on this week’s edition of “Sports Paws.”

After earning a weekend sweep last week over Cornell and Colgate, the Quinnipiac men’s hockey team looked to earn another sweep as they faced number twenty nationally-ranked St. Lawrence and Clarkson.
The women’s hockey team also faced both St. Lawrence and Clarkson on the road.
On the other side of the TD Bank Sports Center, the women’s basketball team looked to continue it’s success in the MAAC and keep themselves at the top of the standings. One game did involve the Bobcats needing extra time for the first time this season.
The anchors also take a look at some big numbers and stats on the women’s basketball team over the last few weeks.
As for the men, they traveled on the road to Connecticut rival, Fairfield and they also faced one of it’s toughest tests of the season at home against Iona.
