The playoffs are still on for a couple winter teams, while spring sports officially get underway.
Mark Spillane and Victoria Rutigliano anchor this week’s episode of “Sports Paws.”
The women’s basketball team competed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against the University of Oklahoma. Basketball analyst Jon Alba discusses the game and the team’s performance. Senior Jasmine Martin is also live in studio to discuss her team as well as her own performance.
The men’s ice hockey team took on Harvard in the ECAC semifinals in Lake Placid, New York. Mark Spillane is joined by Marty Joseph to analyze the game and later by Rob Ciambra to discuss the West Regional that Quinnipiac will take part in for the NCAA Tournament.
Both anchors also hand out report card grades for several winter athletes.
Plus, the men’s lacrosse and baseball teams continue their seasons.
