The Quinnipiac women’s basketball team got its last practice in at Gampel Pavilion on Friday afternoon before its First Round matchup with the Miami Hurricanes in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Bobcats met with the media beforehand and head coach Tricia Fabbri reflected on the great times she’s had coaching her daughter, Carly, these past four years. The younger Fabbri, who grew up in Connecticut, also made it clear that despite UConn being the top-dog in the state, she has always been more inspired by her mom’s squad.
